I NEED A JOB

I’m not going to lie. I am terribly stressed about not having a job yet. I feel like I am looking for and applying for everything. I just hope something comes up this next week cause if not.... realistically, I suppose I’ll just keep looking. Ugh. Also we are looking for a new place cause our lease is up in January. Not to mention Christmas is right around the corner. So much going on and it seems like so little time.

On a lighter note, Kendra and I drove into the city and got a few tasty beverages from our favorite coffee joint, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. After that we came back home and put up our Christmas tree. It’s hand made with the finest construction paper, glue sticks, and scotch tape.

Thanksgiving of Lasagne

If you have never been to the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, I highly recommend it. Unfortunately for us, it is currently under construction or maintenance rather. And good thing there was a swarm of friendly shwing-shwongs (I love you Dunny Buns) there with us too otherwise we wouldn’t have had anyone to take our picture for us. But really, by the bus load I tell ya.

As everyone may know, and if you didn’t you should probably check your calendar cause yesterday was Thanksgiving in America. I really hope that the general population today doesn’t need a special holiday of slaving in the kitchen to realize what they should be thankful for. But I can say that I appreciate the copious amounts of delicious food.

However, this year was a little different. There was no extended family and really no friends. It was just Kendra and I and we had lots of fun actually. We came to the conclusion that cooking a turkey and all the trimmings wasn’t really a great idea for two people especially since she is a vegetarian. So we made a delicious lasagne and some salads.

Don’t worry, we had pumpkin pie too. I don’t care if there is a pumpkin famine and p. pies were $1000.00 each, I will have my p. pie son!!!

We really had fun and it was a new experience for the both of us. Aside from having absolutely nothing to do after our Thanksgiving dinner due to everything in the world being closed other than Wal-Mart, I think we did just fine. I really hope that everyone had a great Thanksgiving and got to hang out with the fam and friends and we both can not wait for Christmas to be here so we can see everyone.

Night at the movies... or not

A night at the movies sounded like a great idea and a good change of pace for this holiday weekend. We weighed our options and decided to go see Twilight. I thought this was going to be a great movie cause all I remember from the trailer I saw a couple of months ago was some slender chicks and dudes dashing about in a forest with the speed of a gazelle on about a pound of cocaine.

I have only walked out of two movies in my life. One being Garfield: The Movie and the other, more recent, Twilight. Somewhere along the lines, Kendra and I missed the memo about how this movie was geared toward the demographic of 13-16 year old girls.

After 25 grueling and agonizing minutes of terrible acting and way too much white powder make up we decided to leave the theater and walk back home to try and get the headed in the right direction. Which is code for a few shots of vodka.

P.S.
Mountaine, If you are reading this, the answer is yes. Yes it is Popov Vodka.

Great Weekend and Good Reasons

I suppose if your reading this, you just might want to know why the heck I moved down here to San Francisco from Eugene. Two big reasons are my girlfriend got a very good job working for a place.

The other reason that I moved here is that I applied and was accepted to the San Francisco School of Digital Filmmaking. This school is legit. I’m so pumped about going here, but it doesn’t start until March of 2009. Which really isn’t that bad, because it gives me a little time to get my feet on the ground and find a job. Apparently when you leave the state, you still have bills to pay... who would have guessed that?

The only problem is that the school wants $30,000 for the year and I don’t really have the ideal credit score that they are looking for to loan me that kind of money. Not a bad credit score, but more of a, “not enough credit history” credit score. I’m sure I’ll figure it out though. Thoughts and suggestions are always welcome.

On a different note, Saturday and Sunday, Kendra and I went for a walk down to the marina that's near by and had a good time. There is so much to do here and just as long as you have a sugar momma, you can totally do it all. :)

Good-bye Eugene. Hello San Francisco.

So I moved to San Francisco to live with my lovely girlfriend, Kendra and for those who don't know my car, I drive a 2001 Dodge Neon and it's purple-ish. So it was named Thug Passion after the drink of choice by only the classiest of "gangstas". Point being, it's not ideal for driving down the old interstate 500+ miles full to the roof with your personal belongings. Either way, I made it and it really wasn't that bad, especially now that gas prices are finally on the decline.

I hope life finds all my family and friends doing well and I will keep everyone posted on life down here as much as I can with pictures and video.

I love you all and feel free to come stay with us down here.
